It\u2019s impossible to put too much emphasis on the headline that will go with your holiday rental property. It has to be descriptive, provide all the important information people need and also be succinct. Get it right and you\u2019ll get more interest in your holiday let. This shows us what you need to include in your holiday rental headline, so let\u2019s focus on each aspect below. It\u2019s a formula for success \u2013 follow the formula, make sure you have every aspect accounted for and you will create a strong headline.<\/p>\n

Type of property<\/strong><\/p>\n

Are you offering a cottage, an apartment, a barn conversion or something else entirely? Make sure you specify the type of property in your headline so you will appeal to the right audience.<\/p>\n

Location<\/strong><\/p>\n

The above headline has specified the county the property is in, as well as indicating which part of the county and the exact location. This is achieved in just three words \u2013 can you do the same with your holiday listing?<\/p>\n

The USP<\/strong><\/p>\n

The above example uses \u2018stunning sea views\u2019 as its USP, or unique selling point. Consider what sets your holiday let apart from the rest. Is it 2 minutes from the beach? Does it have a Jacuzzi and hot tub or its own private pool? Perhaps it is close to one of the area\u2019s major attractions.<\/p>\n

Think keywords<\/strong><\/p>\n

Regardless of whether you are creating a headline for use on your holiday let website or a listing site advert, you should always focus on the keywords. Think about the words your potential clients would use to find your property. These are the words they will enter into the search engine to find some possibilities. By optimising your headline to appeal to the search engines you will stand a far better chance of attracting more attention and getting more bookings.<\/p>\n

The Lynmouth example above would be found by anyone looking for holiday rentals in Devon or more specifically North Devon. Those who know how attractive and peaceful the area is would also find the property, since we have pinpointed its specific location. Apply this same rule of thinking to your own property.<\/p>\n

Edit and edit again<\/strong><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t settle for the first headline you create. It\u2019s a good idea to jot down some words and phrases in each of the areas indicated above so you can work out how best to describe each one. Try fitting them together to see if they work as a solid headline.<\/p>\n

It’s worth spending some time adjusting and editing your headline so it is the best it can be. Experiment with one or two different ones too, so you can see which one gets the best result.
