We recently released some great new features to PromoteMyPlace to give you greater control and flexibility over the look and feel of your website.
Two Stylish New Templates!
We’ve added two new templates for you to choose from:

As with all our templates you can:
- Upload your own header image
- Create a slideshow header
- Choose from a range of stylish colour schemes
- Add your own text and photos
- Add any number of pages
- Choose from a number of widgets, such as translation, social media, google location map, weather etc
Ability to Show Main Image on the Home Page Only
Many of you love to create a big impact with your holiday rental photos by displaying a large image or slideshow on the home page. That’s great, but having such a large image forces your website visitors to scroll down to view the content every time they navigate to a new page. To combat this we’ve added an option to allow you to display the header image on the home page only.
To do this simply:
- Login to your account
- Go to ‘3. Edit Website Content’
- Find the ‘Main Image’ section and select ‘Show main image on home page only?’
Choose Whether Main Menu is Repeated in the Footer
By default the main menu of your website is repeated in the footer, if you have not added any menu items to the footer menu. If you’d prefer not to repeat the menu at the bottom of each page you can now choose to switch this off.
To do this simply:
- Login to your account
- Go to ‘1. Website Basics’
- Choose ‘Website Pages’ from the left hand menu
- Scroll down to the ‘Footer Menu’ section and deselect ‘Repeat the main menu in websites footer’.
